White Sox vs. Cubs + Blackhawks = Heaven?
June 14th, 2010 Posted in Blackhawks, Cubs, Stanley Cup, White Sox, Wrigley FieldI had never been to a Sox/Cubs game and when I saw a YouSwoop deal for $79 rooftop tickets, I thought it was a good opportunity to go. It also ended up being a night where the Cubs honored the Blackhawks for winning the Stanley Cup. The team, including coaches and other staff all walked around the field passing The Cup to each other, shaking hands with the Cubs and Sox players and then taking a whole group picture.

Before going up to the rooftop, I decided to take my chances and try for some pictures of the Hawks arriving to Wrigley and of players inside of Wrigley Field. While I got some, they look as if the players are in prison since the pictures are taken through a gate.
The game itself was pretty good. Both pitchers had no-hitters going till late in the game. The Cubs ultimately won 1-0 and Ted Lilly was unable to keep his no-hitter. The Down The Line rooftop was just ok. It looked as though it were under new management and that they were still figuring things out.
