Julie Needs a New Camera
October 12th, 2008 Posted in College Football, Penn StateNow I know going to events such as a concert or game, taking pictures is not the main priority. However, I like to document things, especially when I have good seats.
And that was the case for the Penn State football game at Wisconsin that Nik and I went to on Saturday. Our seats were great – 17 rows up from one of the end zones. My pictures, however, are not:
I should add that our day in Madison was great. An easy drive there and back. Nice people all around, contrary to what I had heard before heading there.

I reccomend any Nikon or Canon Rebel. With a good lens, they’re the best you can get without breaking the bank.
Unfortunately, I’m still stuck with a semi-advanced point and shoot.
What is your current set-up?

I have a digital Olympus camera. Sometimes pictures come out great, and sometimes not. I was hoping for better pictures for this game with the seats we had.

I was in the upper tier at this Giants game and have an Olympus SP-570 UZ. It’s about the price of an SLR but has a built in 20x zoom so you dont need all the lenses n such. Good for sporting events I find.

Hey Regis…I’ve gotten a few camera suggestions. Hopefully I’ll get one soon. I love taking pictures, so we’ll see.
